Brand identity system, ArtsX Event 2022 branding

The ArtsX mission is to showcase to the public the high level of achievement and creativity demonstrated by the students and faculty in the programs of visual, literary, and performing arts at Bowling Green State University. ArtsX is faculty- and student-driven. It enables student and faculty artists to interact with and educate the public through collaboration across the arts. It provides valuable experience in arts advocacy for volunteers and performers. This branding concept for the 2022 event is 1/3 of the final directions that I designed, and as of now is the final option chosen for this coming event. The meaning behind this design is representational of the constant flow of learning through experimentation which we see in both the arts and sciences. The smoke graphic elements help to accentuate the concept of ideas flowing. The logo mark was made from experimentation and manipulation of the font chosen for the headers. I manipulated the tracking and lines within the Typography to create a cohesive form that comes together, just like the arts and sciences are for this event.
